a few things i didn't consider:
I'm recovering from a studio downsize/move that has slowed me down a bit. So for last week's goddess, I'm posting a pic of a tapestry I did a number of years ago. The piece measures 29"x40" and was woven horizontally on a large tapestry loom.
This was my first piece of goddess art. My personal interpretation/connection with the goddess is expressed thru nature. The head/hair represents the sun. The base, plant roots.
Studying it now, I see a lot of opportunity for embroidery and other adornment. Perhaps another week later in the year.
